Scott Kolassa

Drew Scott Kolassa is a partner at BC Law Group.  Scott’s practice focuses on litigation and licensing in the electrical and computing arts.

Mr. Kolassa has led and/or been a member of successful patent litigation teams spanning a wide range of industries, including semiconductors, software, telecommunications/networking, and medical devices.  Mr. Kolassa litigates and advises clients in all aspects of intellectual property litigation and transactions.
Mr. Kolassa advises clients on a broad array of intellectual property-related issues, including in- and out-licensing, intellectual property portfolio management and prosecution strategies, drafting and reviewing intellectual property-related contracts, commercial intellectual property transactions, and developing/executing negotiation strategies.

Prior to joining BC Law Group, Mr. Kolassa was in-house at Applied Materials, first as the primary legal resource for the business responsible for factory automation software.
